How Much Do Dental Implants Cost in Arlington, TX? A 2026 Price Guide
Typical Arlington–Fort Worth prices, what changes them, and how to compare quotes.
Updated September 2026. If you have been quoted a number for a dental implant and are not sure whether it is reasonable, this guide walks through what implants typically cost in the Arlington and greater Fort Worth area, what changes the price, and how to compare quotes without getting burned.
The short answer
In the Dallas–Fort Worth area in 2026, a single dental implant with its abutment and crown most commonly lands between $3,000 and $6,000. Published price guides from DFW practices span from roughly $2,500 at the low end to $7,000 at the high end, depending on what is included and whether preparatory work is needed. Those are area-wide figures, not our fee schedule. The only number that matters for your mouth comes from an exam and imaging, which is what our $149 implant consultation is for.
What you are actually paying for
An "implant" is really three parts, and the quote you receive should say whether it covers all of them.
The implant post. A titanium screw placed in the jaw that becomes the new root. Surgery, the implant itself and the surgical guide are usually priced together.
The abutment. The connector that sits on top of the post once it has healed. Often billed separately, and one of the most common items missing from a low headline price.
The crown. The visible tooth, shade-matched to your natural teeth. A porcelain or zirconia crown on an implant is generally priced higher than a crown on a natural tooth because of the custom connector work.
If a quote is far below the area range, ask which of these three it leaves out. The most common answers are the abutment, the crown, or the imaging.
What moves the price up or down
Bone grafting. If a tooth has been missing a while, the jaw shrinks where the root used to be. A graft rebuilds it before an implant can be placed. Simple socket grafts in DFW commonly run a few hundred dollars; larger grafts or a sinus lift for upper back teeth run higher, often $1,000 to $3,000.
Extraction. If the tooth is still in place, removing it adds to the total, typically $300 to $800 in the area depending on how difficult the extraction is. In many cases the implant can be placed at the same visit as the extraction, which saves a healing cycle.
Imaging and planning. Implants should be planned on 3D imaging so the post avoids nerves and sinuses and has enough bone around it. Some offices include this in the surgical fee; others bill it separately.
Sedation. Local anesthetic is included. Oral or IV sedation for anxious patients is an additional, modest cost.
Where the tooth is. Front teeth demand more cosmetic work on the crown and sometimes gum shaping, which adds cost. Back teeth are less visible but need a stronger crown.
Replacing more than one tooth
Implant-supported bridge. Two implants can hold a bridge of three or four teeth, so you do not need an implant for every missing tooth. Area pricing for a two-implant bridge is commonly in the $5,500 to $10,000 range.
Snap-in (implant-retained) denture. Two to four implants hold a removable denture firmly in place. No adhesive, no slipping. Commonly $8,000 to $15,000 per arch in DFW.
Full-arch fixed teeth (All-on-4 style). Four to six implants support a full set of non-removable teeth. This is the most involved option and area prices per arch commonly run $20,000 to $28,000 or more. It is also the option where quotes vary most, because what is included (temporary teeth, final teeth material, extractions, sedation) differs from office to office.
Does insurance cover dental implants?
Some plans now cover part of the implant or the crown; many still treat implants as elective and cover only the extraction or a portion of the crown. Annual maximums (often $1,000 to $2,000) mean insurance rarely covers most of an implant even when it applies. Our team checks your benefits before you commit and shows you the expected out-of-pocket amount in writing.
How to compare quotes fairly
Ask every office the same five questions. Does the price include the implant, abutment and crown? Is 3D imaging included? Is a graft expected, and what does it cost if so? Who places the implant and who restores it, and are both done in the same office? What happens, and what does it cost, if the implant fails to integrate? An honest office answers all five without hesitation.
Why the cheapest quote is often not the least expensive
Implants that are placed without adequate planning, or restored with a poorly fitting crown, are the ones that come back as problems years later: bone loss around the post, a crown that keeps loosening, gum inflammation. Fixing those costs more than doing it well the first time. An implant placed and restored properly, and kept clean with normal brushing and checkups, is designed to last decades.
What happens at the $149 implant consultation
An exam, a review of your imaging, a conversation about your goals, and a written, itemized plan with the cost of each step. No pressure to decide that day. If you already have a quote from another office, bring it and we will walk through it line by line.
Questions people ask
How much does a single dental implant cost in Arlington, TX?
Across the Dallas–Fort Worth area in 2026, a single implant with abutment and crown commonly runs $3,000 to $6,000. Bone grafting, extraction and imaging can add to that. The exact figure for your tooth comes from an exam and imaging.
Why is there such a wide price range?
Because quotes differ in what they include. Some cover only the surgical post; others include the abutment, crown, imaging and follow-up visits. Always ask what is and is not in the number.
Is an implant cheaper than a bridge?
A three-tooth bridge is usually less expensive up front than a single implant. Over time the implant is often the better value, because it does not require reshaping the neighboring teeth and does not need replacing on the same schedule as a bridge.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We work with your insurance and offer financing options so treatment can be spread over time. The consultation includes a clear cost breakdown before anything starts.
Can I get the implant and the crown at the same office?
Yes. Implants are placed and restored in our Arlington office, so one team plans and completes the whole case.
